Rasheed Ahmed, President of IMC-USA, said “For minorities in India it seems Supreme Court is the last hope to extract justice for their grievances. Although justice delayed is justice denied in most cases, this is lot better than the current state of impunity for some government officials and some in law and order community.”

Ahmed further added that “The victims of Gujarat would have preferred these cases tried in a more neutral state given the diminished level of confidence in the government machinery of Chief Minister Narendra Modi”.
